Sedky Sakhr, an accomplished Egyptian actor and musician, embarked on his artistic journey at the age of fifteen, starring in Lobna Abdel-Aziz’s weekly radio show, Rokn El Atfal (The Children’s Corner). His theatrical debut came in 2003 with the “El Tamye” theater company, an initiative by Salam Yousry. Over the years, Sakhr has showcased his talents in a myriad of roles across both short and feature films. Additionally, his television career is marked by significant roles in series like Zy El Shams (2019), Fi Kol Esboo’ Youm Gomaa’ (Every Week Has a Friday) (2020), Leih Laa’? (Why Not?) (2020), B 100 Wesh (2020), Ansaf Maganeen (Half Crazies) (2021), Qawa’ed Al Talaq Al 45 (2021), Etezan (2022), and Soot w Soura (With Evidence) (2023).

Sakhr reached a career milestone with his role in both seasons of the hit series, Rivo (2022-2023). His filmography includes a role in Jaylan Auf’s Lamma Gat 10 (Turning Ten) (2018), a short film that received various notable awards.

Moreover, he did the voice-over of the Prince in the English version of The Knight and the Princess (2019), Egypt’s first feature-length animated film. In 2023, he graced the screen with a special appearance in Anf w Thalath Eyoon (A Nose and Three Eyes), a film that premiered at the prestigious Red Sea International Film Festival, further solidifying his status as a versatile and dynamic force in both the acting and musical fields. Sedky completed 3 different roles in the 2024 Ramadan season in the series “Farawla”, “Lunchbox” and “Kamel El Adad + 1”. Recently, he had his top watched series “Raqam Serry” being streamed on Watch It.

Sedky made waves in “El Noss” series in Ramadan 2025 season by taking a different role that captivated the audiences.

Sedky hosted a podcast in partnership with Wadi Degla Developments discussing details and intricacies of family relationships and family life called “Family Talks” which have 2 successful seasons.

Beyond the set, when Sedky’s not filming, he’s probably singing or playing music. He’s actually been making waves since 2012 as a founding member of Youssra El-Hawary’s band, charming audiences with his harmonica performances. The multi-talented artist also plays the piano, guitar, Ukelele, clarinet, and tabla. But when he wants to unplug, you’ll find him underwater, diving somewhere in the Red Sea.
