He earned a degree in Law from King Abdulaziz University (KAU) before delving into acting, starring in notable short films such as Sudden Death (2015). Mohsen's artistic journey continued as he joined the "Saudi Theatre" ensemble under Ashraf Abdel Baqi's mentorship.

His acting portfolio features roles in Qawareer (2016), Kawkab Aakhar (2019), and Saudi Heroes (2019). In 2020, he moved to Egypt, after starring in Wadi Al Jinn, alongside a range of talented Arab actors. Mohsen now splits his time between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, capitalizing on collaborative opportunities.

He appeared in Ghorfa 207 (Room 207) (2022) and Dofaa’t London (London Class) (2023), both directed by Mohamed Bakir. Mohsen also played his first role in an Egyptian film with an Egyptian accent, alongside superstar Ahmad Al Fishawy in the film Ward Rihan, set to be released in 2024.

Additionally, he played an important role in the imminent Saudi film Hwjn, which premiered at the Red Sea International Film Festival in December 2023, and soon after, was released in theaters across the Arab region. Mohsen’s recent ventures include a role in a pan-Arab series titled Al Waa’d (The Promise) (2024) to be released soon.

Beyond the set, when Mohsen’s not filming, he takes part in various voice-over and advertising projects. He’s also a skilled music producer, having worked with prominent Saudi artists.
